Studio Poppi was founded in 1974 by Luigi Poppi, who started his career beside the accountant Piergiulio Ravera, a well-known local professional with national assignments, and Professor Tancredi Bianchi, scholar in the field of financial intermediation economics and Past President of the Italian Banking Association. Luigi Poppi is Accountant and Auditor, he graduated in Economics and Business and, in 1975, he attended a specialisation course at the Columbia University in New York, with teachers including the former collaborator of President Kennedy and former United States Ambassador to Italy Mr. Richard N. Gardner. Since 2008, the group of professionals in the consultancy includes the nephew of the founder, Leonardo Poppi, who followed as leader of the firm after working for years as administrative and financial officer at important Italian companies.
